I am Sascha “Laker” from Leonberg-Warmbronn (JN48ls) and have been a licensed Class A radio amateur since August 2025.

Back in the 1990s, I was active on 11 m / CB radio. After that, I lost sight of the hobby for many years. Through my DIY and technical projects involving 3D printing and laser technology, I rediscovered radio technology last year and ultimately successfully completed my earlier attempt to obtain an amateur radio license.

Today, my focus is on shortwave SSB as well as digital modes such as FT8 and FT4. I am also interested in portable radio activities within the framework of POTA, technical homebrew projects, and portable equipment solutions.
